NYK Thoubal kicks off year-long silver jubilee gala

Imphal, July 06 2013 : With the attainment of 25 years of Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Thoubal Kendra, L Tilotama, Vice Chairperson of NYK Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India officially launched the year-long Silver Jubilee Celebration of NYK in a function held at the Zonal Office here yesterday.

On the occasion, Y Lakshman Singh, District youth Co-ordinator, NYK, highlighted the major achievements of the Kendra and other programmes organised by NYK in association with other departments/agencies in Thoubal district.

Jackei Ruivah, Zonal Director, appreciated the efforts being made by the Kendra for establishing better linkage and co-operation with the district administration of youth programmes in Thoubal district.

Y Lakskman, who received prestigious National Award for Best Awareness Campaign form the President of India, was also felicitated on the occasion.
