New Mao Council team takes oath

Senapati, February 06 2018: The oath taking ceremony of the newly elected members of the Mao council was held at Tadubi community hall in the presence of all the Mao villages' chairman/secretaries and Mao civil bodies.

The oath was administered by A Neli, former speaker of the council.

The file handing and taking over was conducted by A Athili, former general secretary.

Newly elected president SP Peter Khrasi in his speech thanked the Mao people for keeping faith in his leadership and further appealed the house for unity and cooperation.

Elected members are: SP Peter Khrasi as president, SD Daiho as vice president, A Kapani as general secretary, P Heni as court secy, K Losii as finance secy, A Adakho as social and culture secy, D Adahrii as treasurer, L Ephriiwo as information and public relations, Lokho Ozhou as speaker and N Lokho as assembly secy.
