Imphal, November 05 2024: Enat Yokkhatpa Luptin (EYOL), Manipur has expressed heartfelt appreciation for the enthusiastic celebration of Ningol Chakkouba by all indigenous communities of the State.

Speaking to media persons during a press conference held at Wangkhei today, EYOL general secretary M Joy expressed gratitude to various organisations and the public for supporting EYOL's recommendation to use indigenous products during the festival.

The recommendation was made during a public meeting held in August.

He said that the intercommunity celebration of the festival will not only strengthen the bonds between brothers and sisters but also help in bringing harmonic relations among the different communities.
