Imphal, November 05 2016: BJP State Unit chief spokesperson Prof S Tikendra today alleged the State Government of using fraudulent means and other malpractices during the written examination for recruitment of inspectors in Sericulture Department.

Briefing mediapersons at BJP office located at Nityaipat Chuthek, S Tikendra said that written examination for recruitment of inspectors in Sericulture Department was conducted on October 30 .

It was learnt that one individual by the name Asem Sushila who did not appear in the written exam was included in the list of successful candidates.

"When BJP team went and asked Asem Sushila, she said that she did not appear in the exam and it was shocking to see her name in the list," S Tikendra said.

"BJP is not against providing employment to the people.

However, the State Government should follow the rules while conducting any recruitment process," he added.
