Three Nepali women rescued

Tengnoupal, January 05 2020:
Personnel of 3 Assam Rifles and Immigration Department rescued three Nepali women, who are suspected to be a victim of human trafficking from Integrated Check Post at Moreh, today.
On questioning, the three women said that they tried to cross the border as two individuals from Siliguri, West Bengal namely Akash and Ramchandra promised to give them a highly paid job in a foreign country.
Though the women possessed all requisite documents, they were stopped as they don't have any idea where they are heading to, report this correspondent.
The women who were rescued are Kalma Kathayat Aidi (36), Tarakami (30) and Saraswati Mardi Chahi (31) from Nepal.
