Imphal, August 04 2021: The All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) has urged the parents and students seeking admissions for educational courses outside the State to watch out for fraud agents and institutions.

Briefing a joint press conference at DM College campus today, AMSU's external affairs secretary, Wangjam Sanatomba Meitei stated that many students in the past have fallen victims to fraud agents and institutions on the assurance of reserving seats at schools and colleges.

To save students from such frauds, AMSU and other like minded Manipuri associations based outside the State will extend guidance to ensure those seeking admission outside the State are admitted to Government recognised schools and colleges, he added.

The programme was also attended by volunteers of Manipuri Youth and Students' Organisation Mysore (MYSOM); Bangalore Manipur Students' Association (BMSA); Shillong Manipur Students' Union (SMSU); Manipur Students' Association Kolkata (MASAK) and Manipur Students' Association Chandigarh (MSAC) .
