CQC inmates extend financial aid to volunteers

Imphal, June 04 2020: The eight inmates who were discharged on June 3 from the Evergreen Flower's School Community Quarantine Centre on completing their 14 days quarantine and testing negative for COVID-19, extended financial aid to the volunteers of Ningombam Ideal Youth Club (NIYC) .

NIYC in its statement expressed gratitude and thanked the inmates for the contribution while also wishing them good health and added that they were only trying their best to make their stay a comfortable one.

The club further stated that its volunteers were working under the supervision of Thoubal AC MLA and volunteers of Thoubal Kendra COVID-19 Aid.

The inmates had made the donation to thank the volunteers for taking good care of them and tending to all their requirements during their stay at the CQC.
