AR holds security meet with village chiefs

Chandel, August 03 2024: In its ongoing commitment to the villages, Assam Rifles organised a security meet at Moltuk with village Chiefs of Parlon, Moltuk, New Songjang, Old Songjang, Molphibung and K Savumpa of Chandel district on August 2, 2024 .

The event marked a significant step towards encouraging awareness on the security situation of the area and requirement of maintaining peace and harmony among various tribes and neighbouring villages, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the border villages.

Representatives of seven villages attended the event.

The attendees expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles as it facilitated awareness on the security situation of the area, added the statement by the Assam Rifles.
