Auto rally held at Bpr; public rally at Haoreibi, Narankonjil, Mayai Lambi and Hiyangthang

Bishnupur, November 02 2019: In support of the call made by COCOMI to organize public alert meetings demanding that the final solution of the peace talk between GoI and NSCN (IM) should not compromise the territorial integrity of Manipur, passenger Auto Riskshaw drivers operating in Bishnupur area took out an auto rally in Bishnupur today.

More than 100 auto drivers drove their auto in the rally jointly organized by Bishnupur Awang Auto Owners and Drivers Association together with Bishnupur Kha Auto RE Owners and Drivers Association that commenced from Bishnupur Forest Gate and culminated at the same place after driving upto DC gate at Block Lamkhai. Regarding the rally, president Bishnupur Awang Auto Owners and Drivers Association, Kh Ajit Singh said that the rally was organized demanding publication of the content of the agreement between GoI and NSCN (IM) to clear the air of confusion from the mind of the public.

Banner which read as "We Demand Content of the Peace talk", "Territorial integrity of Manipur cannot be compromised", "No solution in favour of one community at the expense of the interest of the other communities" etc, were used during the rally.

On the other hand, Haoreibi Meira Paibi and Club members of the Haoreibi took out a protest rally at Haoreibi, Narankonjil, Mayai Lambi and Hiyangthang raising slogans that the final solution of the Indo-Naga peace talk cannot harm the territorial integrity of Manipur yesterday.

More than 400 protestors took part in the rally and held placards which read as "Territorial integrity of Manipur cannot be compromised", "No solution in favour of one community at the expense of other communities", "We oppose the divide and rule policy of Central Govt", "Long Live Manipur" etc.
