Naga workers union distributes relief materials to drivers of Manipur

Imphal, September 02 2011:
Land Surface Transport Kohima District Motor Workers Union has been distributing relief materials to drivers of Manipur bound goods vehicles stranded in Nagaland.
Over 80 trucks have been stranded at Khuzama Gate due to bandhs in Manipur arising out of the Sadar Hills issue.
The Union general secretary, Bipin Angami Sophie said dal, rice and other items have been extended to the drivers.
The transporters union leader also provided medicines to unwell drivers.
