Critics Forum Manipur celebrates Foundation Day

Imphal, November 01 2024: The 19th Foundation Day of Critics Forum Manipur was observed at Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) Hall in Yaiskul Police Lane today.

The event organised in collaboration with ICCR Zone Centre Shillong was attended by Manipur Sahitya Parishad Imphal president Longjam Joychandra and Critics Forum Manipur president Dr N Premchand as presidium members.

During the programme, Manipur State Kala Akademi Awardee, Hijam Shyamdhani delivered a lecture on the topic, "My Theatre Journey" .

Loitongbam Dorendra, winner of Nata Bhushan Manipuri Sahitya Parishad (Drama) 2024 and Loitongbam Brajamohon, winner of Loubuktongbam Shyamdeva Sharma Ningsing Mana 2024 were also felicitated.

"Liksari", quarterly journal of Critics Forum Manipur was released and a drama titled "Cheina" was presented by artists of People's Arts & Dramatic Association Top Khongnangkhong.
