KNO�s key reforms

Emphasising its focus on development, the Anti-Corruption Mobile Team of the Kuki National Organisation (KNO) has released key reforms for the public and the society.
According to a statement issued by the PR secretary of KNO, Helien Kipgen, the four points binding reforms included that no chief/individuals/Govt officials should pay, offer, demand or accept bribe for exchange of favour or benefits.
Prescribing that no chiefs or Govt officials should manipulate funds/benefits meant for the common people, the KNO reforms also said that sanctions, funds/grants etc received either from the Centre or State should directly reach the destination meant for.
It also said that quality check on all contract or developmental works namely MGNREGS, PMGSY, IAY etc should be strictly monitored by the outfit�s Anti-Corruption Mobile Team while also urging the public to honour and endorse the initiative in thwarting rampant practice of corruption.
Asserting that it regarded bribery or corruption as the hallmark of underdevelopment and divisive factor among the people, the KNO pledged to uphold the key reforms as they are indispensable for the development of the people.
