Imphal, September 30 2020: As part of the 'Relieving hunger' project of the Lions Club International, Lions Club of Imphal Central organised 'Feeding the needy' programme today which was held at the BB Paul Mental Development Home, Mongshangei.

Lions Club of Imphal Central president, Lion Ningombam Ratankumar Singh presided today's function while BB Paul Mental Development Home secy, Y Ibechaobi Devi, Principal T Anita Devi and Lion Laishram Phulebdro Meitei attended as chief guest and guests of honour respectively.

Ex president of Lions Club of Imphal Central, Dr Nameirakpam Binabon Singh donated items including 2 bags of rice, daal, channa, salt, cooking oil and face masks for the inmates of the home.

The items were dedicated in the name of his late father N Modhu Singh.

L Phulendro Meitei, on behalf of Lions Club, also donated a sum of Rs 1000 for buying notebooks for the inmates.
