Relief Committee formed

Imphal, March 31 2020:
To assist the people of Khundrakpam Kendra who are facing grievances as a result of COVID-19 pandemic, a Relief Committee was formed at the office of Student Club Yumnam Khunou today.
The committee aims to extend possible help to people who are running out of food and 'life-saving medications' and to differently-abled persons as well, said convenor of the Relief Committee.
Saying that it will extend solidarity to the precautionary steps taken up by the Central as well as the State Governments, it added that the committee is ready to provide manpower in strengthening the Government's protocol.
On the other hand, the committee has warned all the agents responsible for the distribution of goods, as per the CM's directive, to the people of Khundrakpam Kendra to immediately release the money or rice, which were allegedly deducted as the charge for transportation of goods.
It appealed to all the shopkeepers in the Kendra not to increase the prices of goods.
