Disabled Welfare Development Association extends help

Imphal, December 30 2021: Disabled Welfare Development Association, Takyel Khongban Mayai Leikai continues to extend help to differently abled persons, widows from Below Poverty Line (BPL) section and HIV infected persons.

The Association extended help for the seventh phase in a simple function held at Manipur Press Club today.

In today's occasion, wheelchairs were also distributed to the differently abled persons.

Speaking as the chief guest of the occasion, Ng Bimola Devi of Takyel Zilla Parishad lauded the association for its philanthropic activities by helping these people with an aim to motivate them and help them lead a normal life.

She also appealed to the parents of the differently abled persons to take care of them and encourage them to pursue their hobbies.

Further she called for concerted efforts from the women to strive for an egalitarian society free from all sorts of gender biases.
