SBI donates ceiling fans to school

Ukhrul, June 29 2012: State Bank of India (SBI) Ukhrul Branch donated eight ceiling fans to KTL Higher Secondary School of Ukhrul under its Corporate Social Responsibility Program for infrastructure development of educational institution.

SBI branch manager Tiken Singh handed over the ceiling fans in the presence of school staff in a small function held on Thursday.

In his brief speech, the bank official said the SBI has a great concern for the welfare and development of education through infrastructure development.

The SBI's gesture is a continuing campaign undertaken through Corporate Social Responsibility Program in Ukhrul town.

Earlier, the bank had also donated ceiling fans and water filter to Model High School and Ukhrul Higher Secondary School.

Meanwhile, KTL School principal Yarmi Kashung has expressed gratitude to SBI for their effort to uplift education.
