CM petitioned to rescue Kamalbabu

Imphal, November 28 2024: Members of the 'JAC Against the Missing of Laishram Kamalbabu' along with Sekmai MLA H Dingo submitted a memorandum to chief minister N Biren on Thursday appealing to rescue 57 Mountain Division contractual work supervisor L Kamalbabu, who went missing from the Leimakhong military garrison.

Addressing a press meet at Kanto Sabal in connection with submission of the memorandum, minister H Dingo stressed that instead of politicising the matter all should strive for resolving the ongoing crisis and search for missing Kamalbabu.

He also termed as shameful for Indian Army that Kamalbabu went missing from the well-fortified 57 Mountain Division.

The JAC members along with minister Dingo submitted the memorandum to the CM urging the latter to rescue Kamalbabu at the earliest.

The CM also assured that the government is doing its utmost to rescue Kamalbabu unscathed.

Andro MLA Th Shyamku-mar was also present during the meeting with the CM .
