Imphal, November 27 2011: A seminar on "Areeba Manipuri Sahitya Neinaba" was held today at Manipur Dramatic Union hall at Yaiskul Police Lane.

The seminar was organized by Leimarol Khorjei Leikol.

RK Jhalajit, Chief Guest of the seminar, said that Manipuri literature has helped Manipuri society at many junctures.

Manipuri literature plays a major role in introducing Manipur to the world so we should strive to it.

All who love literature should write continuously to make beautiful garden of literature.

Prof P Nabachandra Singh was the moderator in the morning session.

Dr T Tampha Devi read a paper on "Areeba Manipur Sahityada Mahousagee Saktam", Dr H Natini on "Areeba Manipuri Sahityada Thengnariba Nupeeshing-gi Hiram" and Ashongshangbam Tejmani on "Areeba Manipuri Sahityada Khut-ee Amasung Lon" .

In the evening session, which was moderated by Prof P Gunindro, N Indramani Singh and B Kullachandra Sharma dwelled on "Areeba Manipuri Sahityada Rajniti" and "Laining Laison" respectively.

The seminar was presided over by Kh Sorojini.
