One day legal awareness programme on 'Child Laws' held

Bishnupur, October 27 2019: A one day legal awareness programme on "Child Laws" organized by Child Welfare Committee, Bishnupur under the sponsorship of Manipur State Legal Services Authority was held at Sanatombi Oriental English School in Kumbi Municipal Council, Bishnupur District yesterday.

The awareness programme was attended by National Youth Awardee Founder Cum Secretary Sanatombi Oriental English School, N Santakumar Singh; Chairperson Child Welfare Committee Bishnupur, P Premchand Singh; Member Secretary CWC National Youth Awardee, O Maipakchao Singh; Member CWC, L Rebati Devi; Member CWC Th Sudheer Meitei and Principal Sanatombi Oriental English School, N Ngouba Singh as presidium members.

As part of the programme, Member Secy CWC O Maipakchao Singh spoke on "JJ Act 2015 and Functioning of CWC" as resoure person while Member CWC Th Sudheer spoke on "Child Trafficking and Prohibition of Child Marriage" and Chairperson CWC P Premchand Singh spoke on "POCSO Act 2012 and Mob Lynching" .
