Imphal, May 27 2021: The gun fight between factions of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) on May 24 at Longmai that led to lost of 2 precious life is condemnable and is clear indication of defying people's admonitions and is uncalled for.

Rongmei Naga People's Organisation (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland); Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM); Rongmei Naga Luh Phuam Manipur (Women Wing) and Rongmei Naga Students' Organisation said this in a joint statement issued today and added that killing each other is not an act of bravery when it is done for an unworthy cause.

The joint statement added that Rongmei people are peace loving people and will never tolerate bloodshed in our jurisdiction and shall boycott whoever violates the stand of the people which had already been made loud and clear.
