Imphal, December 26 2020: Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur announced today that Naorem Tangbi, National and International Awardee will be honoured with 'Year of the COVID-19 Nurse, 2020-21' at the annual programme of the academy which will be held at Manipur Press Club on December 29 at 11 am.

The programme will be attended by MP Leishemba Sanajaoba and MLA Heikham Dingo as presidium members, said a statement released by Dalit Sahitya Academy.

Recipients of International awards for this year are Mairenbam Maniton, Moirang for Meitei Pung; Konjengbam Sunita Devi, Keishampat for Manipuri Classical Dance; Thokchom Ritankumar Singh, Mayaikoibi Ningthoujam Leikai for Nata Esei; Laimujam Pratap Singh, Thoubal Achouba for best Entrepreneur and Social Activist and Elangbam Radharani Devi, Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai for Dance and Dance Music, added the statement.

The statement also added that the recepients of National awards are Banti Singh Konthoujam, Arapti for Social Welfare Joint Director; Kangambam Nongyai Singh, Charangpat Mamang Leikai for Meitei Pung; Ningthoujam Mangi Meitei, Khangabok for Meitei Esei; Oinam Swamikumar Singh, Heirangoithong Ningthemcha Karong for Manipur Matam Esei; Leimapokpam Bimolata Devi, Thoubal Athokpam for Nata Esei; Tayengjam Bejita Leima, Ngairangbam Awang Mamang Leikai for Meitei Esei; Lourembam Dhaneshwor Singh, Nongmeibung for Nata Esei; Lukram Poonam Devi, New Chekon; Lukram Sushmi Devi, New Chekon; Kangujam Sangita Devi, Khongman; Thongam Kunjaraj, Singjamei; N Ngthoudai Gonmei, Langol Tarung; M John Chothe, Salemthar Village; Mathiu Rongmei, Noney; Sorenshangbam Brojen, Oinam; Thangjam Ratan Meitei, Khurai; Karong Bung Nethang, Palace Gate; Ningthoujam Angamba, Uripok Achom Leikai; Phurailaitpam Janpriya Devi; Ngouba Thouna, Langmeidong; Elangbam Premananda Meitei; Kharibam Jiten, Charangpat; Wahengbam Amusana Devi, Hiyanglam and Waikhom Sanajaoba.

Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur informed all the awardees and those awardees who already collected their awards from Delhi to reach the venue before 11 am in the statement.
