Anti drug awareness drive oragnised

Imphal, February 26 2020: Mantripukhri Bn of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted an anti drug awareness drive for a drug free Manipur today.

The awareness drive was organised by Sagolmang COB at Peace Ideal Academy, Pukhao village, said PRO, IGAR.

An interactive lecture on harmful effect of drugs was conducted to generate awareness about the ill effects of drugs and to guide everyone to lead a healthy life.

An interactive session was also organised in which various queries were answered followed by an awareness rally.

The event gave an insight to the students about harmful effects of drugs on the human body and to educate the students on this sensitive issue and various measures to counter the drug menace.

64 people participated in event, it added.

The attendees expressed gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organising the educational drive.
