Two nabbed for allegedly forging certificates

Jiribam, November 25 2017: Two individuals from Jiribam who were allegedly involved in preparing and forging documents like birth certificates to enrol unauthentic electoral in the Electoral Roll, 2017 were arrested today.

The individuals have been identified as Head Master of East Lalpani, Government Primary School as well as BLO of 40/90, Md Makram Ali of Lapani Part I, Jiribam and one of his associates Md Hussain Ahmed of Lalpani, Part II, Jiribam, conveyed a press release issued by Superintendent of Police, Jiribam District.

On the other hand, one hardcore criminal identified as Md Kalamani of Kashimpur village, Jiribam who had been absconding from the law for more than four years after commission of kidnapping and rape was also arrested.

Later, he was remanded into the police custody for further necessary legal actions.
