State BJP slams Ibobi Govt; terms it 'policy paralysed'

Imphal, March 25 2015: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh on Wednesday slammed the Ibobi-led Congress Government for its failure to curb corruption and bad governance.

Speaking in a press meet held at the State BJP Office, Party General Secretary (administration) M Aswinikumar termed Ibobi's regime as "policy paralysed government" as there is corruption and incompetency in all the departments of the State.

BJP State Unit said it has asked the Centre to look into the issues and rectify certain 'malpractices'.

Funds sanctioned for SPA, NEC, NLCPR, ACA, etc have been 'misutilised' and almost all the major infrastructure-based projects taken up in the State have failed to complete in time, alleged the BJP leader.

Aswinikumar also highlighted the alleged misutilisation of funds and improper implementation of flagships programmes of the Centre like MGNREGS, National Rural Health Mission etc.
