CM to leave for finalizing plan size

Imphal, April 23 2013:
Along with some Cabinet Ministers and bureaucrat officials, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh would be leaving for New Delhi tomorrow to finalise the plan size of the State for the fiscal year, 2013-14 .
Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia has scheduled a meeting with the Chief Minister on April 25 at Yojana Bhavan, New Delhi to finalise the plan size of Manipur.
Ahead of this scheduled meeting, the officials of the Planning Commission and the State Government have to engage in a several round of meetings to discuss the issues related to finalization of the plan size.
It may be noted that even though the State Government had to refund 30 percent of the total sanctioned amount of Rs 3500 crores in last fiscal year 2012-13, it is projecting a plan size of Rs 4200 crores for the fiscal year 2013-14 .
