CRPF conducts Civic Action Programme

Imphal, December 22 2024: The 86 Battalion CRPF, under the aegis of Dr Vipul Kumar, IPS, IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF and supervision of Saurabh Kumar Chaudhary, Commandant-86 Battalion, CRPF conducted a Civic Action Programme at K Senam village under Kangpokpi district today.

A release issued by the office of the 86 Battalion CRPF, Lamphelpat stated that during the Civic Action Programme, roofing sheets and water pipes were distributed to the villagers of K Senam and T Laijang village.

As part of the programme, a meeting was also held with the youths/villagers of the villages.

The chief guest of the function, Saurabh Kumar Chaudhary, Commandant-86 Battalion, CRPF while addressing the gathering expressed his gratitude to the villagers and stated that the distribution of roofing sheets and water pipes was done with the aim to improve the quality of life to help the village and also to create an atmosphere of goodwill/positive relationship with the people of the villages.

The Chairmans and public of the both the village applauded the initiative of 86 Bn CRPF and extended their heartfelt gratitude with the hope that many more similar events would continue in coming future, it added.
