KCP pays last respect

Imphal, November 22 2021: The banned Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has mourned the demise of its deputy finance secretary Ngasepam Athouba Meitei (53) alias Ng Khuman Meitei of Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai on November 21, 2021 .

In a statement, the outfit's secretary in-charge, information and publicity S Mangal stated that Nga-sepam Athouba joined the revolutionary movement at a tender age of 14.Saying that Athouba served the party and the motherland with utmost dedication till his last breath, the KCP stated that Athouba also made a dedicated effort 'to promote the culture and tradition of our society'.

The statement further stated that the party flags were flown at half-mast as a token of respect to the deceased at its CHQ, GHQ, units and MFL camps.

He left behind an irreparable void, the KCP said and gave its red salute to the deceased.
