Imphal, June 22 2016: Indian Red Cross Society, Senapati District Branch has kicked off a 4-day special training programme on 'First Aid-Life Sav- ing' at DRDA conference hall, reports our correspondent.

The training programme was attended Dr Bankim, pro- gramme co-coordinator of ICRC/IRCS, O Ratan Singh, secretary, IRCS, Imphal West, RK Gopal, master trainer, First Aid and K Basanta, volunteer cum senior FMR as the resource persons.

Altogether 25 trainees participated in the programme.

Selected individuals will be given a task to provide train- ing on first aid at their respective village after the completion of the training programme.

The valedictory programme will be held at Senapati Public Ground on June 25 and would be graced by DC Jacintha Lazarus.
