SSA Teachers' Association urges to disburse salaries

SSA Teachers' Association, Manipur has urged the State Government to disburse the pending salaries before Ningol Chakkouba.
In a statement, SSA Teachers' Association said that the State Government is yet to disburse 5 months salary for primary teachers and 4 months salary for upper primary teachers.
Most of the major duties like election revision, election duties, Aadhar Card rectification, micro observer for examination have been entrusted to all the SS teachers.
Apart from discharging duties at the respective school as assistant teachers, Headmaster In-charge, they have been assigned to assist the Director(S) in other recruitment processes, the statement said.
"SSA teachers have been rendering services for the welfare of the students.
Since Ningol Chakkouba is also drawing near, the authority concerned should initiate required steps and disburse the pending salaries at the earliest," the statement added.
