Governor partakes in Janmashtami celebration

Bishnupur, August 19 2022: Governor La Ganesan partook in the Krishna Janmashtami celebration programme organised by Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations Committee, Ningthoukhong Gopinath Sevayet at Ningthoukhong Gopinath Mandir today.

Notably, the devotional entertainment programme began at 9 in the morning and will continue till midnight.

The event was hosted by Kalaraj RK Jilasana and saw the attendance of dignitaries such as Leisemba Sanajaoba, Rajya Sabha MP; Work and YAS Minister Govindas Konthoujam; BJP State president A Sharda; Dr T Bhabeshwor, VC, MTU; Dr Usham Deven, MLA and other notable personalities of the State.

Separately, Krishna Jandmashtami celebration was also held at Shri Shri Radhamadhabjee Mandir in Ningthoukhong organised by Shri Krishna Janma Seva Committee, Ningthoukhong.
