Dimapur, January 16 2014 :
The NSCN-IM has accused the NSCN-Khole/Kitovi group of sowing the seeds of hatred between the former and the Sema (Sumi) community.
The NSCN-IM also alleged that all the extorted money by the NSCN-Khole/Kitovi group 'seem' to have been invested to fuel Naga disunity.
NSCN-IM then said the outfit felt it quite amusing that a group of thugs could really pretend to behave civilized when their hands and foots are blood soaked from the killing and torture of our own Naga people.
Such devious posturing at the time when NSCN and Sumi community are trying to find ways and means to resolve differences amount to fishing in the troubled water with the motive to harvest favour from the Sumi (Sema) people.
It is clear that their objective is to bring enmity between NSCN and Sumi community thereby sowing seeds of hatred, revenge and rebellion against us.
All the money extorted from the Naga people in the name of Unification seems to have invested into fuelling Naga disunity, chaos, tribalism, regionalism and pleasure," the NSCN-IM charged.
According to the NSCN-IM, the 'abandonment' of its camp in Mukalimi village in Zunheboto district is to avoid unnecessary confrontation and the loss of more sons of the soil.
It is to be understood that such decision arrived knowing that the fight is not with the Sumi community.
However, imposters of Naga unity must be disappointed that we vacated the camp and losses of more Naga souls are avoided, the outfit claimed.
It is also interesting that the message sent to 'our Sumi (Sema) community' by NSCN-IM chairman Isak Chishi Swu is conveniently interpreted as a threat to Sumi leaders when it was meant to reconcile and understand one another.
A mind being ruled by negative thought will never grasp the content of the message but interpret suitably in their liking which does not surprise us anymore.
Such a treacherous design to manipulate the opinion of the Naga people at this juncture of seeking peace and unity is quite unfortunate, it added.
"It is strangely unfortunate that when the highest level leaders from the entire Naga nationalist are to meet soon for reconciliation, such propaganda devoid of truth and sincerity are being displayed without any compunction of sensitivity and sentiment to the Mukalimi incident.
We must learn to help bridge the gap and not bomb the already shaky bridge if one is a genuine seeker of Naga unity and reconciliation," the NSCN-IM stated.
