Imphal, March 14 2015 :
The proscribed UNLF on Saturday clarified that the outfit and its armed wing MPA have no connection whatsoever with the March 11 Khwairamband temporary market shed bomb blast that left three dead and more than 20 others injured.
In a statement signed by M Sak-hen, director in-charge, UNLF, added that the outfit has been cautioning the people on the unabated 'secret skirmishes' launched by 'Indian Occupied Force' in Manipur since many years.
UNLF claimed that India imposed draconian law like AFSPA, 1958 in Manipur with the primary objective to crush revolutionary movement of the land and to eliminate civilians and to commit wooly cases of enforced disappearance.
UNLF said the 'state terrorism' committed by India has been let slipped well in the public domain since the recent discovery of a number of human skulls and skeletal remains at the erstwhile Tombisana High School, Imphal, which was once occupied by security forces.
The outfit alleged India has waged a 'proxy war' against the people by exploding bombs and killing innocent civilians and causing a fear psychosis in its attempt to tag the revolutionary struggle as 'terrorism' as the international community has stepped up opposition against terrorism.
The statement insisted that India is letting loose its handpicked ruffians to trigger bombs in public places to kill civilians.
