Shiv Sena appeals to Prime Minister

Shiv Sena, Manipur, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce/assure the establishments of National highway Protection Force (NHPF) and implementation of 7th pay commission for the employees of the State, during his visit to the State tomorrow.
Speaking to media persons at Shiv Sena office at Babupara today, Shiv Sena State president Moirangthem Tombi said that Shiv Sena welcomes the planned visit of the Union Home Minister to the State on March 15 and the Prime Minister on March 16 .
However, he appealed to the Prime Minister to announce the establishment of the NHPF, a demand which has been raised since long time back by the party, as well as implementation of 7th pay in the State for the Government employees, during his visit.
Narendra Modi announced 7th pay for the Government employees of Tripura during the election campaign for Tripura Assembly, Moirangthem Tombi said and expressed desire for the PM to do the same in the State during his visit.
Tombi further expressed desire for the authority concerned to include cadres of outfits which have signed SoO with the Central and the State Government, in the NHPF if it is established.
He added that Shiv Sena will submit a memorandum to the PM regarding the party's demands.
On the other hand, Moirangthem Tombi lauded the steps taken up by State Government regarding the repairing and cleaning the river banks of the State.
He further urged the State Government to expand the works to Nambul river and also to create a water body at Lamphelpat as well.
