PREPAK observes martyrs' day

As in the previous years, the proscribed PREPAK observed martyrs' day today together with different communities at many places.
The martyrs' day was observed at the party's central headquarters, general headquarters, tactical headquarters, base areas, transit camps and training centres.
The observance at the general headquarters at the party's general headquarters was opened by flying the party's flag at half mast.
This was followed by observance of silence for two minutes and offering of gun salute to the martyrs.
Speaking at the gathering, organisation secretary Michael Luwang elaborated on the responsibilities and duties of the red army.
Defence secretary Aheiba Angom highlighted the ever growing need for supreme sacrifice on the part of the red army in order to take the liberation movement to a higher trajectory.
A press release issued by the outfit's assistant secretary, publicity and propaganda, Leibakngakpa Luwang pledged that the party would carry on its liberation movement against alleged imperialist India.
