Combined annual training camp to be held

Imphal, December 11 2017: The combined annual training camp (Air Wing) for cadets of No 1 Manipur Air Squadron and 14 Manipur Bn, NCC Group Imphal will commence tomorrow and would be conducted for ten days .

The camp will be held at NCC Group Headquarters Imphal at DM College campus .

A total of 400 cadres will attended the camp .

NCC Group Imphal has been participating in various activities including Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, spreading awareness on ill effects of drugs and AIDS, anti-malaria drive, women empowerment, adult literacy and voluntary participation in blood donation camps etc .

The camp will prepare the cadets for various NCC certificate exams and other activities including Aero-modeling, Drill, Flying subjects, Range firing like skeet shooting, classes on diasater management, blood donation camp, yoga classes etc will also be consucted in the remaining days of the camp .

With an aim to improve their communication skill, the cadets are put through a number of competitions like debate, lecturettes etc .

Trekking and adventurous activities are also planned for the cadets while the camp will be culminated with the cadets showcassing their knowledge gained during the training camp .

Sqn Ldr TS Singh, OC No 1 Manipur Air Sqadron (Flying ) NCC under the guidance of Brig Vivek Sharma, VSM Gp Cdr, NCC Imphal GP would be conducting the camp for the cadets who hail from all districts of the State.
