Prof Kamei wins the trust of Tamenglong leaders

Tamenglong, December 11 2013:
A veteran politician and scholastic writer, Prof.Gangmumei Kamei, who is also the National Vice President (ST) Morcha, BJP and intending MP Candidate for Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency (ST), has said that he would continue to work for protecting the identity of Zeliangrong community.
He said that if he was elected and come to power in the forthcoming MP election, he will take up national project for each family of Zeliangrong community to transform their economic condition.
However, he did not mention what type of national project he was referring to.
In an exclusive chat with Hueiyen Lanpao on the sideline of a blessing cum public leaders' interaction programme hosted at Sheki Nuh Inn, Tamenglong district headquarters here today, Prof.Gangmumei Kamei said that BJP has its own policy towards Naga issues and he will work under the party's policy for solving the Naga issues.
Prof Gangmumei further said that he will work for bring quality education and more employment to the youth of Zeliangrong community.
During the blessing cum Public leaders' interaction programme, the congregation unanimously declared to support the candidature of Prof.Gangmumei Kamei in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary constitution.
Michael Dangmei, State Secretary of BJP; Katapou Pamei, Social worker and Johnson Kamei, Social Worker were also among those who spoke and urged the people of Tamenglong to cast vote for Prof.Gangmumei Kamei during the programme.
A special mass prayer for Prof.Gangmumei Kamei was conducted on the occasion.
Prof.Gangmumei Kamei, National Vice President (ST) Morcha, BJP is 73 years old.
He hails from Lungchum (Awangkhul) village of Tamenglong district, but presently resides at Majorkhul, Imphal.
