Interaction with KOICA's Country Director held

An interaction programme with Woo Chan Chang, Country Director of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was held at Khongnangthaba University, Khurai Konsam Leikai on Thursday.
According to a release issued by Khongnangthaba University, the interaction with Woo Chan Chang is an important step forward in achieving academic and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the university.
The meeting was attended by Dr Atom Sunil Singh, Registrar, Khongnangthaba University; Dr A Guneshwor Sharma, Dean and Director of AYUSH; Dr Laishram Irnoba Singh, faculty; and other noted faculty members from Kangleipak Medical & Nursing Institute and the College of Pharmacy.
Future cooperation in Korean studies, culture, history, and tradition were discussed during the meeting.
Speaking at the event, Woo Chan Chang expressed his excitement regarding the growing ties between India and Korea and die importance of such academic initiatives in nurturing cultural & professional relationships and going forward into their ventures.
He also spoke of the rising numbers of medical professionals being demanded in Korea while providing insight into prospective job opportunities for students who may be taking a career path in
medicine and nursing.
