Imphal, August 11 2022: 143 Battalion CRPF under the aegis of IGP, M&N Sector organized a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign cum a plantation programme at its Headquarters, Lamphelpat.

Olympic medallist Saikhom Mirabai Chanu and Sandeep Datta, IGP of Manipur & Nagaland Sector, CRPF graced the programme as the presidium members among others, said a press statement by 143 Bn CRPF.

Speaking at the occasion, Sandeep Datta congratulated Saikhom Mirabai Chanu on winning the Gold medal at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

He also reiterated the importance of Tiranga and efforts of CRPF to make the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign successful.

Saikhom Mirabai Chanu also spoke about how important the National flag is and how it served as a mode of encouragement in all her competitions.

She also appealed to actively participate in the ongoing 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, added the release.
