Doungel Inpi denies allegations, demands apology from Thadou Inpi

In response to the claims made by the Thadou Inpi-General Headquarters on August 7 through a press release against four individuals including the president of Doungel Inpi, GHQ, the Doungel Inpi General Headquarters has denied all allegations in its press statement.
In the said press release by Thadou Inpi, it had cast aspersions and 'committed calumnies' against 4 individuals with regard to the resignation of one Chingnu Kilong, w/o Khupjamang Kilong, from the post of president of the Thadou Women Association (TWA) .
The statement had also alleged that the 4 individuals had threatened the then president of TWA and had forced her to append her signature on a pre-drafted resignation letter.
The Doungel Inpi has stated that all these claims and allegations are inconsistent with the truth, as evident from the clarification by the concerned person herself (Chingnu Kilong), published in Eimi Times on August 9.The Doungel Inpi has demanded that the Thadou Inpi-GHQ should cease and desist from making further defamatory statements against the 4 individuals and to retract all false accusations made.
Further, it has demanded Thadou Inpi-GHQ to issue and apology for the libelous statements made by them against said 4 persons.
