Capacity building programme, workshop / production conclude

The month-long workshop cum production of "Bhasok Khandita" organised by Shree Shree Hanuman Thakurji Nupi Pala Association concluded today at Mahabali Hanuman Thakur Temple, Imphal.
The workshop cum production was conducted under the Cultural Function and Production Grant (CFPG) Scheme of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The valedictory function was attended by Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Director, Pukhrambam Bilash Singh; State Kala Akademi awardee, Khwairakpam Yaimabi Devi; cultural activist Dr Makhonmani Mongsaba; Shree Shree Hanuman Thakurji Nupi Pala Association president, Loitam Maipakpi Devi and advisor Kangabam Thoibi Devi as presidium members.
At the event, the dignitaries spoke at length about the beauty of "Bhasok Khandita" which is filled with love & devotion for Shree Krishna.
They also collective effort to promote & preserve the culture and traditional arts forms of Manipur.
IRCS
A 4-day capacity building programme on "Emergency Response" concluded today at the conference hall of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch in MG Avenue, Thangal Bazar.
The programme was organised by IRCS, Manipur State Branch in collaboration with IRCS, National Headquarters and supported by International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).
The closing function was graced by IRCS, Manipur State Branch, vice president, RK Nimai and Dr Parak Borkar, Movement Cooperation Coordinator for ICRC's Regional Delegation for India, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
Altogether, 23 IRCS volunteers from different districts of Manipur participated in the programme.
The programme culminated with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
