MSF to monitor educational institutions, temporary shelter homes

Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has announced that as an initiative to ensure stranded and displaced students are not deprived of quality/ proper education, the 2023-25 Executive Council of MSF will begin assessing/ monitoring educational institutions of the State.
Addressing a press conference today at MSF Head Office in Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai, Sundar Khuman, newly elected general secretary of MSF, said that due to conflict which began on May 3 last, a large number people including students are presently taking shelter at relief camps set up in different places.
He asserted that schools, colleges and universities established across the state of Manipur will be scrutinized intensely under the academic campaign "Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi" in order to promote and improve the present education system.
He continued that MSF will also strictly monitor those Temporary Shelter Homes and other Fabricated Homes inaugurated by the Manipur Government to ensure the grievances and needs of the displaced people are addressed on time.
Sundar Khumar further shared that MSF's 19th Federal Executive Council 2022-23 has been dissolved and the existing letterhead, receipt book and seal will no longer be in use.
"The new receipt book, letterhead and seal will replace the existing documents immediately", he concluded.
