Thoubal, October 05 2020: International Teachers' day which is celebrated globally on October 5 was observed in Wangjing, Thoubal district at the Wangjing Women and Girls Society (WWAGS) hall, today.

The programme was jointly organized by Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), Thoubal district and WWAGS, under the sponsorship of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

International Teachers' Day observed

Former director of JSS, Thoubal, Laishram Jailshyam, JSS chairman, Leishangthem Damu, gen secy WWAGS Wangjing, Laishram Premananda, DIC Thoubal supervisor (Infra) Th Bijoi and member of IIPA New Delhi, Md Amir Hussain attended the programme as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

As part of the programme, diligent RP staff of JSS Thoubal were also felicitated.
