JCILPS will be invited again for talks: RK Anand

Due to the non-attendance of representatives of JCILPS, talks scheduled to be held today on the issue of Inner Line permit system in Manipur failed to take place, informed MLA RK Anand, convenor of the recently formed All Political Parties committee on the ILP issue.
During a press conference held at the office of the Dy CM at Imphal Secretariat here today, RK Anand informed media persons that a meeting presided over by the CM and participated by representatives of political parties committee on the issue was held at the conference hall of CM's office at 2 pm today.
Representatives of various political parties except the BJP attended in today's meeting held at CM's office, he added.
Admitting that the process for release of Advocate Arjun could not be completed as the CM and the Dy CM had been in Delhi, RK Anand expressed confidence that a positive development will be seen by Monday next.
He further said that the govt will send invitation to the JCILPS for the second time.

Bijoy and MLA Dr.I Ibohalbi were also present during the press conference.
