Thoubal, August 04 2024: Angom Salaai Production's "Ireipakkidamak", an audio CD of patriotic songs, was released yesterday in a simple ceremony held at Thoubal Achouba Multipurpose Hall.

Leichombam Gopal, chairman, Salaai Kanba Lup (SKL) officially released the audio CD yesterday.

The audio CD contains two patriotic songs written by Angom Surjit Meitei with Malemleima Telem and Sorokhaibam Amrika lending their voices.

The two songs are "Thoraklo Laklo" by Malemleima Telem and "Chaktheklammu Yeknaba Pumba" by Sorokkhaibam Amrika.

The ceremony was attended by Rameshwor Waikha, president, Thoubal Apunba Lup (TAL); Sahitya Academy Awardee Sunita Ningombam and Arbin Hanglem, Assistant Commissioner Thoubal as presidium members.

According to Angom Surjit, this offering from Angom Salaai Production was released with the goal of helping the IDPs scattered across the State in various relief camps receive medical consultations from psychologists.
