Imphal, August 04 2021: Achoibam Deben Singh, Co-opted member of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee distributed edible items to households in the containment zones at Lamlai Assembly Constituency today in a bid to alleviate the hardships faced by the people due to COVID-19.The distribution programme was taken up in association with Lamlai Block Congress Committee, Lamlai Kendra Development Political Forum, Hill Area Development Committee, Lamlai Block Manila Youth Congress Committee, Lamlai Kendra COVID-19 Second Wave Information Centre and Councillors of Lamlai Municipal.

The edible items were distributed to around 385 households of Seijang, Takhel, Itam Nungoi, Lamlai Mayai Leikai, Lamlai Awang Leikai, Sanashabi, Sabungkhok Khunou, Thamnapokpi, Challou, Sanjenbam Khunou, Sanjenbam Khulen, Yourabung Khunou, Sawombung Kabui Khun, Kharason, Nongren Mayai Leikai, Nongren Awang Leikai, Nongren Makha leikai, Napet, Sawombung Gate and Leimakhong Mapal and also to Covid Care Centre.
