Imphal, July 03 2013: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi will visit Johannesburg (South Africa) with Central Empowered Group of Finance Ministers from July 25 .

He would be accompanied by Taxation Commissioner Hrishikesh Modak and Secretary to CM N Ashokumar.

On the other hand, State Joint Chief Electoral Officer N Praveen will visit Namibia to impart training to election personnel in Namibia from July 11 to 14 .

He along with Election Commission of India Secretary KN Bhar will assist the master trainers of the African nation in a training programme on operating EVMs supplied by Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), Bangalore.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia has assured to cover the expenses of the two officers.
