Many file nominations for ensuing Assembly election

CCpur/Kpi, February 03 2022: Two candidates, one from the Congress and another from Janata Dal (United) filed their nomination on Thursday in Churachandpur district for the 1st phase of Manipur Legislative Assembly Polls.

T Manga Vaiphei, former Minister of Indian National Congress filed his nomination for 57-Henglep AC) while Lallianmang Khaute (LM Khaute), former DGP Manipur , former DGP LM Khaute filed nomination for 58-Churachandpur AC as a JD(U) candidate.

Meanwhile, former Minister Haokholet Kipgen, chief of Hengbung village also filed his nomination as an Independent candidate from 51-Saitu Assembly Constituency for the ensuing Assembly Election, becoming the first to file nomination in Kangpokpi district.

Haokholet Kipgen filed his nomination to the Returning Officer, 51-Saitu AC with nomination paper No 1/LA/2022/RO-Saitu.
