TSA supports ATSUM's stir

Imphal, June 01 2013 : The Thadou Student's Association, General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) in its general assembly held on May 31 at H.Kotlenphai village Chandel district, had unanimously resolved to support All Tribal Students Union, Manipur (ATSUM)'s movement to begin from June 3 until the demands are fulfilled considering the common interest and tribal unity in Manipur.

Further, as per the resolution No1 (C) the apex Thadou Students Association in its general assembly resolved to demand the Kuki Students Organisation-General Headqurters (KSO -GHQ) to dissolve all the KSO branches/blocks in Manipur and the Thadou-Kuki Students Union (TKSU) in order to reconstitute KSO-GHQ along the federal structure with constituent units such as KZP, MZP, SSPP, MSU, ZSP, ZILLAI, ASUM, KRSU, HSA, TSA,etc., for the unity of the Kuki society.

"Defying to reciprocate the demands, TSA-GHQ ,as it is at present, shall function as an independent organisation and KSO-GHQ shall be held responsible for the differences within the kuki society," the apex Thadou students' body warned.
