Imphal, December 30 2021: Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has strongly condemned the attempt to incite fear in the minds of its members through threats of violence.

As per a statement from KSA, an individual proclaiming to be a member of an underground group threatened KSA members with violence at their head office in Khuyathong if they were to speak against the VC of Manipur Technical University, Tongbram Bhaveswar.

KSA further questioned if the unknown individual was a henchman hired by the VC.

It may be noted that KSA had demanded the resignation of the VC of MTU in connection with the recruitment of Assistant Professors wherein the general terms and conditions were not followed.

Further, the statement continued to say that KSA would not be deterred by threats and Tongbram Bhaveswar should be held accountable if any untoward incident were to happen in the future.
