Imphal, September 29 2024: The Zeliangrong United Front has condoled the demise of Abuan Kahmei, the last PA of Ranima Gaidinliu, the lady freedom fighter of India.

"We know him to be an ardent believer of Zeliangrong Homeland in whom our Mother Rani reposed all reliable historical accounts and documents orally and written.

He has kept and recorded many hidden aspects of the personal life of Ranima Gaidinliu pre and post India independence.

In short, he was the repository of the account of Zeliangrong struggle; the Zeliangrong People Convention movement," said ZUF in a statement.

The ZUF shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family members and relatives and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
